Many runners cite greater flexibility as the number one reason for doing yoga and for good reason. Yoga stretches the muscles that are tight, which in turn increases the range of motion in related joints. Increased flexibility decreases stiffness and reduces nagging aches and pains, resulting in greater ease of movement and increased performance. As your training increases over the season the attention you devote to recovery and staying healthy between races also has to be more intentional. Make a conscious decision to keep yourself healthy this season

This class will be taught by KC a former marathon runner herself (Chicago and Milwaukee), has been a practicing Physical Therapist for the past 8 years and a practicing yogi for the past 11 years.
